With a shared history in Newcastle, the Hunter and Regional NSW each organisation came to life around the same time, and each has worked hard to forge themselves in a competitive environment; we have both enjoyed success and endured a little heartache along the way, however the qualities, strength of leadership and commitment to our communities hold us in good stead.

McDonald Jones has been a proud sponsor of the Newcastle Knights at differing levels across the club's history, and since 2017 we have supported the club as a Major Partner and been carried on the sleeve of their recognisable Red and Blue jersey when they play at home and away.
